“BRIGHT SPARKS – THINK QUICK!! THINK SMART!!” Quiz competition for Batch 2016-2017/012

EVENT NAME: GENERAL QUIZ

To keep trainees engaged motivated, exuberant and enthusiastic during their training period, we at MBD UDAAN conduct “Brain Games” at regular basis. As a part of this, a General Quiz – “BRIGHT SPARKS – THINK QUICK!!  THINK  SMART!!” was organised on Feb 25, 2017.

The quiz was divided into 3 rounds and each round was eliminating round. 6 teams participated in the quiz. Team B was a winner team. The quiz was hosted by Ms. Manpreet Kaur and coordinated by Ms Priya Vishwanath.

The participants enjoyed a lot and answered the questions skilfully and confidently. The audience also got a chance to participate every time the teams answered incorrectly. The Rapid –Fire round was the most exciting and game changer round. Team F did very well in this round.

Team MBD UDAAN congratulated the winner team and encouraged the participants by giving TOKEN OF APPRECIATION to the WINNERS.

Introductory ICEBREAKER session for batch 02

Excitement and anxiety goes hand in hand on the first day of  training. New comers arrive  knowing very few other companions. In fact, some of them arrive knowing no one. To bridge this gap and make them comfortable and familiar with each other, we, at MBD UDAAN, organise icebreaker games for the trainees to not only introduce members of the group, but also let them acquire some information about each other. 

So when the batch 012 of MBD Udaan was ready with new journey of hopes and fulfillment of dreams, it was a time to make their take off interesting and comfortable.

So an IceBreaker activity was conducted. Everyone had to share their one "Best moment of Life" with their small introduction. Everyone one enjoyed the activity. This activity was ended with a song sung by one of their companion. This was a fun filled and energy infusing session.

One of the trainee Mr Muzafar had also prepared a presentation on COMPUTERS, which he delivered with good confidence and spirit. This presentation is a part of our one of the MOTTO " For the trainees, By the trainees". His initiative was appreciated by everyone and also motivated the others to give such presentations in future by them also.

Skill Test Drive – First placement drive by SILARIS company @ MBD Udaan

Event: Skill Test Drive – First placement drive by SILARIS company

The first “Skill test drive” was organized at MBD Udaan for the trainees of batch 001 to give the exposure about the placement process. Mr. Ashutosh from SILARIS Company had visited the campus for the internal screening. The trainees from Batch 001 had participated in the same went through the Mock interview session. This will help them to face the actual interview in a better way since they are exposed to these processes during their training program.

Demonstration on Retail Management at Retail Lab @ MBD Udaan

There was a Demonstration on Retail Management using the Retail lab for the trainees of MBD Udaan who are undergoing the retail course. The session was organized by Dr. Akansha Jain to make the trainees to understand the   functionality of the Retail industry. The trainees had got the opportunity to use the fully equipped Retail lab to understand in a better way. It was a nice informative session which helped the trainees to grab more knowledge about their domain.

Special lecture on Employability at MBD Udaan on 8/2/17

A Guest lecture on “Employ ability” was conducted by Mr. Sachin Jain, Founder Director- EPinfoways. The trainees were given a large picture about the employ ability - challenges and how to overcome. The session was organized to prepare the trainees for the upcoming employment opportunity. It was an interactive session with questionnaire.  The questions on the employ ability of the trainees were clarified.

An outdoor communication session at MBD Udaan on 1/2/17

There was an outdoor activity on a winter morning (Paper art) conducted on communication skills at MBD Udaan to show them how the inappropriate and one way  communication end up with lot of confusions and both way communication gives best results. The session was conducted outdoor to break the monotony of the regular classes. The trainees had a great time under the pleasant sun shine remembering the famous saying “MAKE HAY WHEN THE SUN SHINES”

Placement Interaction session at MBD Udaan on 13/2/17

Event: Placement Interaction

The first Placement Interaction was organized on 13/2/17 by Ms.Varsha Bahuguna, Mobilization and Recruitment Lead. It was a first career counseling session where candidates were told about the placement, process,      preparation, JD & Job roles. The trainees were asked to go through the different Job roles of the different companies to get the actual idea about the required skill sets to get desired jobs and also asked to give presentation on the same to get brushed up about what they have gone through.
