International Day of HAPPINESS Celebrations 20th March 2017

Event Name: Happiness Day Celebrations.

Batch: 009, 0012 & 0013

The International Day of HAPPINESS is celebrated on 20th March worldwide. It  was founded by United Nations adviser Jayme Illien on June 28, 2012 after all 193 member states of the UN adopted a resolution for the well-being of people to be given a greater priority. 

The day is run by Action for Happiness whose mission statement is: “I will try to create more happiness in the world around me.” The idea behind the day is that society’s progress should not just be measured by a growing economy, but also by how content people are.

We, at MBD decided to celebrate this day with the same motive that our progress not only depends on our growth but also how happy our trainees are. And to our surprise the way our trainees took the initiative was remarkable. They whole heartily participated in every activity that was conducted to symbolize the day. The various activities that were conducted list below:

1. Smiley making poster

2. What makes you happy? - elaborate what makes you happy!

3. Greeting each other randomly, shaking hands and mentioning 3 good qualities about each other.

Every participant shared their happy moments and also what makes them happy. And it was great to know that "WHEN SOMEONE HELPS THE NEEDY AND MAKES OTHER PERSON HAPPY, THAT BECOMES THE HAPPY MOMENT".

The event was ended at the happiest note by distributing the prizes to the winners of the above activities and taking the OATH " BE HAPPY AND KEEP OTHERS HAPPY TO MAINTAIN PEACE AND HAPPINESS IN OUR SURROUNDINGS AND MAKING THE WHOLE WORLD A HAPPIEST PLACE TO LIVE".

Ad making activity - And the best Ad gets acknowledged

Activity Name: Ad making using MS WORD

Batch - 0013

Date: March 16, 2017

As the MBD Udaan is growing and its third batch has started, its time to take them to the world of computers. Trainees are quite good and creative at using computer. The first lab activity cum competition of this batch was based on MS WORD. The trainees were told to make a Advertisement and the best would be awarded.

All the trainees did their best and showed their creativity. They had come with innovative ideas.

The judgement was based on how properly they had used the tools available in MS WORD to create an Ad.

Ms. Shruti Puri judged the activity. 

Trainee Tajamul Ahmad Sofi got the prize for his creativity.

Inter batch BRAIN GAMES COMPETITION - COMPUTER QUIZ

Event Name: COMPUTER QUIZ

Batch: 009 and 0012

To have a healthy environment and induce a healthy competition among our trainees, an inter batch quiz competition was organised between batch 009 and batch 0012.

There were 3 teams each from batch 009 and batch 0012. 

There were 3 rounds. The first round was based on Computer Basics. Second Round was on MS OFFICE and third was a Visual Round.

All the teams participated with great zeal and enthusiasm. Team F was the winner and they were awarded.

On the eve of International Women's day preparation on 7/3/17

It's very important to develop the sense of love, respect and care towards the women around. In this journey it's equally important to celebrate those special days. The trainees at MBD Udaan had POSTER MAKING competition on the eve of "INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY" on 7/3/17.

The trainees colored their thoughts showing their respect for women. They come up with great pictures, colorings and posters indicating the great concern about WOMEN.

Birthday celebration at MBD Udaan on 1/3/17

The birthdays of each and every trainee will be celebrated to make their day special. A special birthday E-Card will be sent to their E-Mail Ids and the day will be dedicated to the particular person.  The staff and all the trainees are accompanied for the lunch with the birthday boy/girl.

A small event will be conducted  once in a month to gift the token of love to all the birthday boys/girls of that particular month.

This particular implementation is to make our trainees to feel homely during their special days.

We at MBD Udaan celebrated the birthdays of our udaan trainees on 1/3/17 there were 11 students who had shared their birthdays in the month of february. It was a nice gathering to make our birthday boys and girls to feel special about presence.
